Cookie Policy

Effective Date: 2026-08-15
Last Updated: 2026-07-30

1. Purpose of This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how individual entrepreneur Karnaukh Iryna Oleksandrivna, taxpayer registration number 3029410706, uses cookies and comparable technologies on ikpilates.com and in the IK Pilates mobile applications, and how you can control them.

It supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains more generally how we handle personal data, and forms part of the same set of documents. Terms defined in the Privacy Policy have the same meaning here.

2. Legal Basis

Ukrainian law does not contain a dedicated cookie statute. The storing of information on your device and its subsequent reading are governed by the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" No. 2297-VI where the information relates to an identified or identifiable person, by the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Communications" No. 1089-IX in respect of the confidentiality of communications, and by the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Commerce" No. 675-VIII in respect of the information a seller must give.

Our practice is to apply the stricter European standard voluntarily: we give clear information before any non-essential technology is used, we obtain consent for anything that is not strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested, and we make that consent as easy to withdraw as it was to give. This also keeps a single, consistent standard across our Ukrainian and Bulgarian operations.

3. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website and returned to that website on subsequent visits. Cookies allow a site to recognise your device, remember your preferences and keep you signed in.

Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which hold data in your browser without transmitting it automatically with each request, and software development kits in mobile applications, which store settings on the device itself.

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another domain are called third-party cookies. Session cookies are erased when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain for a defined period.

4. Our Approach

We take a deliberately minimal approach.

We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use cross-site or cross-application tracking. We do not use social media tracking pixels. We do not share data with data brokers or advertising networks. Our Instagram gallery is served from our own servers as static images rather than as embedded third-party frames, precisely so that visiting our home page does not expose you to third-party tracking.

The measurement we do carry out is aggregate and cookieless, as described in Section 6.

5. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the website and the platform to function. They cannot be switched off through our banner, because without them the services you have requested cannot be delivered.

ik_lang - remembers the display language you have selected. First party. 12 months. ik_country - remembers whether you are viewing our Ukrainian or Bulgarian offering, so that prices, studios, schedules and legal terms are shown correctly. First party. 12 months. ik_theme - remembers your light or dark display preference. First party. 12 months. ik_cookie_consent - records your response to the cookie banner, so that we do not ask you again. First party. 12 months. sb-<project>-auth-token and its numbered chunks - authentication tokens issued by our authentication provider that keep you signed in and protect your session. First party. Session and up to the token lifetime.

6. Analytics and Performance

We use Vercel Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how the site performs.

This service is configured so that it does not set cookies, does not use device fingerprinting, does not store IP addresses, and does not create a persistent identifier that would allow you to be recognised across sessions or sites. It produces counts, not profiles, and the results cannot be linked to you.

If we ever introduce analytics that do store information on your device, we will place them behind an explicit opt-in and update this Policy before doing so.

7. Security and Anti-Abuse

Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which distinguishes human visitors from automated submissions without presenting puzzles and without tracking users across sites.

Turnstile may store a short-lived token on your device for the duration of the verification. This is a strictly necessary security measure taken to protect the service you have requested and to prevent abuse of our contact channel, and it is not used for any other purpose.

8. Local Storage

Our website uses a small amount of browser local storage for functional purposes only.

ik_cart - holds the contents of your shop basket between page loads so that they are not lost as you browse ik_country and country - hold your country selection so that the correct studio, price list and legal documents are shown immediately on your next visit

Local storage entries remain on your device until you clear your browser data. They are not transmitted automatically to us with each request.

9. Mobile Applications

Our iOS and Android applications do not use cookies. They store settings on the device, for example your language, unit and notification preferences and a cache of interface labels, in order to work offline and to load quickly.

The applications do not track you across other applications or websites. No tracking domains are declared and no advertising framework is embedded. Where the applications read health or fitness data from Apple Health or Google Health Connect, they do so only after you have granted permission for each category separately, and that data is governed by Section 5 of our Privacy Policy rather than by this Cookie Policy.

10. Managing Your Choices

You can change your response to our cookie banner at any time by clearing the ik_cookie_consent cookie in your browser settings, after which the banner will appear again on your next visit.

You can also control cookies through your browser. Most browsers allow you to view the cookies stored, delete them individually or in bulk, block cookies from specific sites, block all third-party cookies, and clear cookies automatically when you close the browser. The relevant settings are found in the privacy or security section of your browser.

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in, will lose your language and country selection, and will make bookings impossible. The rest of our public website will continue to work.

11. Changes to This Policy

We review this Policy whenever we add, remove or change a technology that stores or reads information on your device, and in any event at least annually.

Where a change requires new consent we will present the banner again. The version number and effective date at the head of this document identify the applicable text.

12. Contact
